Well, Jaydon had his birthday on the 6th of August, and Carson had his on the 16th of August. They each had birthday parties, and had a blast! I think next year we will do a combined birthday party. The boys have been doing great!
School started for Jaydon on the 17th, and he has been enjoying it quite a bit! He has the teacher he had in Kindergarten when we moved back up here. Carson started yesterday (The 24th) and has been having a great time! He got to ride the bus this morning and wished he could ride it home.
Not much has been going on. I go in for my 16 week appointment on the 31st, and we are getting another ultrasound cause that little bleed or whatever hadn't gone away yet. My tummy is getting bigger and soon I will start feeling the baby move! We are excited to find out what we will be having.. We wont find out until the end of September or Early October, but oh well.
At the beginning of August Jaydon was bit by a dog. I took him to the ER and they cleaned it out and everything. The doctor decided to put 2 stitches in it on the ends, and then leave the middle open so it could drain. They gave him an antibiotic, too. Well, the stitches didnt work out... the wound sealed and then it got infected. I took him back to the ER and they took the stitches out, and they gave him another antibiotic. and then they covered the wound. We had to take him back the next day cause the doctor wanted to check him out. But this time they decided to pack the wound. Let me tell ya, I had to pack that wound a few times, and it wasnt fun! I had to take Jaydon back 2 more times... but he is now completely healed. We are awaiting our bill from the hospital, but we dont expect it to be more than 375 dollars.. since we only have to pay for our copay. (75 dollars per visit) We will then be handing that bill over to the owner of the dog that bit Jaydon.
I hope everybody is doing well! Kelcey is enjoying all her "mommy" time. We went and had lunch with Joe yesterday in Anchorage. I dont think Kelcey knows just what to do with all the attention shes been getting the last few days. I better get going- I'll write more later!

Pregnancy
I thought that I should post about my appointment I had last week. I had my annual exam... and we got to see the baby! Everything was looking good. The baby is measuring perfect for 8 weeks (at the time). I am now 9 weeks.. The doctor did find something though...
Dr. Fitzgerald (my doctor) was doing the ultrasound and discovered I have sub-chorionic bleed. (if you want more information, go here: http://www.whattoexpect.com/pregnancy/pregnancy-health/complications/subchorionic-bleeding.aspx)
The doctor said he wasn't concerned. He said the baby was growing well, and the heartbeat was strong. He said that he was going to do another ultrasound at my next appointment. That will be in 3 weeks (August 3rd). We are excited! We still have to scan the ultrasound picture and everything, but we'll get it done! If you haven't noticed I have been extremely lazy and tired... and sick! I do thing the morning sickness is starting to leave though- Everything is good though!

I think it's time to start potty training....
Well, the last few days, more or less, Kelcey has been taking her diaper off when its wet or poopy. She wants to wear her pull ups like a big girl. I'm all for her potty training and everything, cause buying diapers for 2 kids at one time is a bit pricey! So, now I start the potty training journey for the 3rd time, and I hope I have enough patience to make it through. I have a story from this morning that I'm going to share, but here is your warning that its GROSS.
** This morning I was able to sleep in a little... which was VERY nice! At about 9am I hear Sariah, my Sister in law, calling my name. From there I learn that Kelcey has undressed herself from the waist down. That includes the diaper being taken off. After she took her diaper off Rusty, our dog, decided he would go into Kelcey's room and and eat whatever was in the diaper. GROSS, I KNOW! I went downstairs to find Kelcey in her room and she was just SO HAPPY that she had taken her dirty diaper off for me.. to save me some work. I then had to clean her bum off. I figure she had been poopy for a little bit for the fact that the poo was dried on her bum partially. Then I was mad.. cause Joe left her poopy! I got over that pretty quick, cause.. I was getting sick. Anyways.. she got all cleaned up.. and since the incident this morning she has taken her diaper off 3 times.

As for other news........ We have been having some FABULOUS weather up here in Alaska! We have had record breaking HEAT. The only thing I dont like about the heat up here is that you have nowhere to escape it! Our bedroom was 83 degrees one night, and it didnt cool off till around 2am. I have gotten use to sleeping with the shades open in our room.. seeing as it does stay light til around 2-3am.
Kids have LOVED playing outside and we finally have a yard they can play in! We have played in the little pool we have and the sprinklers. Joe has been putting up a retaining wall in the front yard by the garage. I have been taking pictures of all the progress. He has been working REALLY hard!
We have really enjoyed having Sariah, Spencer, and Kenzie here visiting. This week they are down in Seward and Homer camping with Grandma and Grandpa McQueen. We are enjoying the semi quiet house! I have new pictures to upload and post soon. We went to the zoo in Anchorage and had a lot of fun.
Hope everybody is doing GREAT!

A Monday Afternoon...
We made Chocolate Chip Cookies today. I've been wanting to make cookies for a few days, and today just happened to be the perfect day for it. They were super good, and they helped my morning sickness for... well.. they didnt really help my morning sickness, but they were super yummy! I got some pictures off my camera today.. I did realize that after I had uploaded these pictures that I had more pictures that I need to upload from my other camera. I'll get those later! Enjoy, here are a few pictures! Kelcey fell asleep bent over the coffee table.
This picture was taken with my handy camera remote.

blah blah
I know I keep on saying that I need to update this thing more often. Well, its been 2 months since my last post. SO... Here is what has been going on in my life..
School ended! Jaydon is officially going into the 2nd grade. He has been doing fantastic on his reading, math, and writing. When he was in School, he was crossing off goals right and left and just doing wonderful! I need to stop slacking off and start working with him over the summer. Right, I know, the summer in half over and I haven't really done a darn thing! Carson will be starting Kindergarten in the Fall! I can't believe that I will have 2 kids in school all day.. pretty much. Kids grow up too fast! Carson is super excited, and I'm excited for him to have this wonderful new experience. When Carson was in Headstart they told me that I should put Kelcey in the program when she turns 3, which is February 16th.
I want her to go to school. I think it would be good for her! BUT I dont think shes quite ready yet. ESPECIALLY since I'm pregnant.. and I'm due FEBRUARY 15th. The day before Kelcey's birthday... I think she would be happier at home. I dont want her to feel that just because I have a new baby here at home, she has to leave. Am I crazy? I know little kids have feelings and want to be loved and needed.... and I dont want her to leave me yet! and I know I'm making this decision 7 months before she even has the option of going to school. Okay... Did that make any sense at all??
I went fishing. I caught 4 halibut. Two of those Halibut were BIG. One was 50lbs and the other was 100 lbs. Joe had to help me reel them in. We went out with My friend Denise's dad, Jerry, and my brother in law, David, and his wife, Heidi. We had fun. Heidi was sick most the time. The next day we went on a King Charter.. we caught NOTHING. I was sad.. I wanted some salmon!
Like I said, I am pregnant. Tomorrow I will be 7 weeks. My first appointment with a doctor is July 6th. I'm excited, I'll let ya know how that goes. Well, IF I remember to tell you how it went, I'll post something. This pregnancy has been interesting. I've had the nauseated feeling ALL day, EVERYDAY. I will eat, and then 2 minutes later.. I'm sick again. I have come to find out that if I keep myself hydrated with water and stuff.. its not as bad- but its still there. I'm hoping this passes soon, cause it sucks. BAD. I have had a few instances of spotting, but .. I haven't had any cramping or anything while its going on. I figure its the same thing that was going on with Kelcey.. which was a broken blood vessel on the cervix. I should call my doctor about that... Besides the spotting and the nausea, I'm dead tired. ALL. THE. TIME. -- I should be use to this by now.. this being my 4th kid. It probably wouldnt be so bad if I could take naps during the day.. but, I dont get to! My boys dont sleep anymore and my daughter.. she doesnt sleep either. :(
I do have pictures to post.. but I think I'll do that tomorrow when I have a little more time! I'm sorry I havent been good about updating this thing all the time. I will try and do better- but I will probably fail.
I hope you're doing well... and I'll post some pictures soon! :D
I should add that Joe is doing fantastic! :)
