GOOD NEWS

Well, Joe wasnt chosen for the final part of the interview process with the State Troopers and we were really sad, cause thats what Joe really wanted to do! BUT, He did get a civillian job working on the base with his reserves unit. He starts on Feb. 2nd, I think, and starts out as a GS9. Combined with his duty pay (his one weekend a month, 2 weeks a year) We should be alright. We will still be here in Wasilla, living with Max and Sandy, and paying down our debt.. so we can buy a house sometime. Joe still wants to reapply for the Troopers, so we'll see what happens. I'm just glad he has a job!

Good news on the job! Keeping my fingers that he later gets in with the troopers.

This is great! I would be happy if David didn't get a job as a State Trooper. I like the "keep them safe" jobs. You must be so relief that he is working.
